ECMC Bike Run 2004: cream tea stop in Milton Abbas, GB.
With the Gay-Biker-Franken in Effeltrich, in front of the 800-year-old lime tree. Lime tree in Effeltrich (144 KB)
A late-summer visit from the Gay-Biker-Franken. The picture was taken in the Gorges de Pichoux in the Swiss Jura.
A fine September morning in the Formazza valley (northern Italy). Formerly an important north-south route over the Alps, this ancient track over the Griespass into the upper Rhone Valley lost importance with the opening of the Simplon and Gotthard roads. Motor vehicles are now prohibited beyond Riale; pedestrians can continue into Switzerland via the Griespass or the Passo di San Giacomo.
Later the same (long) day, heading back into Switzerland over another fine north-south route, the Spluegenpass.
The following week in the Dolomites, with friends from the ZSMC: a photo stop just north of the Passo di Valparola.
